Born and raised outside of Cleveland, OH, Will (or Wilbur as we like to call him) grew up on a working polo horse farm. Polo had been a family sport for generations so will learned to ride and play competitively along side his dad, mom, and sister. As an adult Will found an interest in and talent for welding, forging and metal working so he decided to combine the two. He started using the old horseshoes that came from the polo or jumper horses off the family’s farm to create custom gifts and projects. Now, with the help of local farriers and our own polo horses, Will is able to amass a large collection of used horse shoes. The used shoes add a unique history, feel, and shape to every piece. They are recycled as they are cleaned and re-worked into interesting new uses, like the wine racks. Today, between playing polo, riding horses, and work on the farm, Will spends hours at the forge and anvil creating and building. Most all of the projects are made with horse shoes of all shapes and sizes used or brand new. We can even incorporate your own horses shoes for a special gift!
